Yes, it is possible to travel to Tanzania during the COVID period.

It is not necessary to be vaccinated to enter Tanzania, however it is mandatory to show a negative PCR test less than 72 hours old when you arrive in Tanzania, even for vaccinated people.

Once you arrive in Tanzania, a rapid antigen test will be performed at the airport.
This test costs 10$ per person.

There is also a form to fill out online within 48 hours before your arrival in Tanzania (https://afyamsafiri.moh.go.tz/#/home). At the end of this form, you will be able to pay the 10$ for the rapid test directly by card.

If you need to do a test for your return home, then it is possible to do one in Tanzania mainland or in Zanzibar.

No, when purchasing a trip with The Smiling Zebra, there is no cancellation insurance included.
The client must therefore take out insurance on his or her own.

Payment for the trip is made by bank transfer on our account in Switzerland.
We ask for a first deposit of 50% of the invoice when confirming the trip, then the remaining 50% one month before arrival in Tanzania.
If you book a trip less than one month before your arrival, then you will have to pay the whole invoice in one go.
